Mayor Vincent Gray (D) and Ward 2 Council member Jack Evans (D) are pushing their plans to have a Redskins headquarters and training facility move near RFK Stadium, located in the Capital Hill East area of the city.
Residents and local political leaders alike wonder if the use of this land is a waste of valuable city land, albeit just sitting idle currently. Supporters of the plan say the facility could help spur development in the area, which can be seen as a good opportunity for this area of the city.
Please write the Capital News and tell readers what you think about the plans to move the facility to RFK Stadium? What do you think?
