THE ISAAC GROUP WITH CENTURY 21 NEW MILLENNIUM
Do you want to make the move from renter to homeowner? Do you want to enter into a new profession where there is not limit on what you can earn? Do you have some extra cash? Are you looking to invest that cash, so that you will get some great returns? Then no option can be better than the real estate. Real estate has always been considered as one of the most stable investments a person can make. Real estate provides the opportunity for solid returns especially when backed by good planning and maintained properly. Time and money spent in relationship to real estate can provide a handsome return. Real estate is a good investment as it develops discipline among investors and is not easily liquidated. Moreover, real estate can be a source to provide consistent monthly income. Therefore, real estate investment strategies are effective for many and should not be over looked.
Information is power and this is certainly true with respect to real estate. Research and access to good information is essential to making informed and intelligent decisions. Enough know-how about the market can help you understand and answer the questions about what and where you should invest. Undertake your own research to solve many problems which also helps in answering many hidden questions. Identify knowledgable real estate professional who can help you to identify potential risk and avoid future consequences.
THE LOCAL REAL ESTATE MARKET IS STRONG AS EVER
The pace of the DC Real Estate market continued right through the fall and winter with a fury. The pace of the market actually continued right through the holidays with a fury. It was shocking to see houses listed on Christmas Eve and under contract by New Year’s, but then, this has been a shocking market. When I was out showing houses on New Year’s Day to my long-suffering clients who were outbid close to 10 times, I braced myself for a busy spring.
In a not-so-surprising turn of events, things appear to have slowed down post-holidays. Houses are not flying off the market in a few days anymore. Bidding wars aren’t the rule anymore. Sellers can’t get away with overpricing a piece of garbage and finding several buyers in line to overpay for their shack. Only a few select areas are still “hot.” The pie cools from the outside.
Now is the time to engage the market. With 1000 new residents moving into the District every month those who are committed to staying in the District in particular and the DMV in general must engage the market in a serious, thoughtful and timely way. For existing property owners we need to make sure we have a way of maintaining our investments, for those 55 and over we must develop strategies for aging in place. For persons with credit challenges we need to get involved with credit repair, home buyers and investment clubs.
THE ISAAC GROUP- READY TO MEET YOUR REAL ESTATE NEEDS
Early in the process you should consult with a real estate professional. It is my hope that you will allow The Isaac Group (TIG) to meet your real estate needs. With more than 40 years’ experience as a real estate professional I have seen days of 18% percent interest rates and I have seen markets where a house in certain communities get multiple offers the first day they the market. To make sure that I am keeping up with the latest information and trends I have recently completed the certification to become certified as a Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) and completed the required course work to become a Graduate of the Real Estate Institute (GRI). Other members of TIG have experience in law, finance, investment and development so that we are able to provide high quality services to a variety of clients.
To increase our organizational capacity we have facilitated with Century 21 New Millennium and CSMI. New Millennium is the largest and most successful franchise within the Century 21 family. This affiliation not only provides my company and clients with the full range of support and services offered by the Century 21 network but our offices at 1000 Pennsylvania Avenue SE gives us present west of the river and is conveniently located by Eastern Market Metro in the rapidly changing Capitol Hill section of the city. Through our partnership with CSMI we have partnered with one of the premier a local developer who is able to the do the big deal but keep the small person in mind. CSMI has provided space for TIG to meet our east of the river clients at xxxx Martin Luther King Ave. SE. Through this partnership we will also be conducting classes for the first time home buyers, persons who want to become certified as real estate professionals and continuing education for existing real estate professionals.
As a major step toward these goals I will be providing a monthly column on various subjects related to the real estate industry. Stay tuned the best it yet to come.
